About
With an enthusiastic attitude towards performing, 18-year-old Cayley Thomas has been singing in productions, festivals, concerts and competitions since she was five years old. An adjudicator once asked her if she ever got nervous… to which little Cayley replied, “What’s nervous?” Confidence, hard work and excellent instruction have supported her work through the years.
Cayley recently graduated from Edmonton’s Victoria School of Performing & Visual Arts where she appeared in many productions. Memorable roles include ‘Millie’ in “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” ‘Ms. Hannigan’ in “Annie” and ‘Helena’ in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” She has also performed in various professional settings such as the Citadel Theatre (“The Sound of Music” & “Peter Pan”) and the renowned Francis Winspear Center for Music. Most recently, she sang several solos with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
Cayley is currently enrolled at Concordia University in Edmonton (music major/drama minor), while studying voice, ballet and piano privately. In February she is off to New York to audition for various universities that offer prestigious music programs. After graduating, Cayley intends to pursue a life on the stage.
